Open Access Policy
What is Open Access?
Open Access (OA) refers to journal articles and other published materials that are distributed online and are completely free to access by the reader. The costs of publication are borne by the author(s) or their funder(s) through a publication fee. This journal model was to encourage open and greater access and transparency of scientific research output.
Open Access Policy in JOGER
All research articles published in the Journal of Geomatics and Environmental Research (JOGER) are fully open access, immediately and freely available for reading, downloading, and sharing by the global research community. Articles are published under the terms of a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License, allowing free non-commercial sharing, copying, redistribution, and adaptation of the work with appropriate credit to the authors and with approval from the journal’s editorial office.
Copyright on accepted articles is retained by the authors but is licensed to JOGER to ensure protection against unauthorized use while enabling widespread dissemination. Any partial or full publication of articles elsewhere requires prior written consent from the editorial board of JOGER.
This open access approach reflects JOGER’s commitment to promoting unrestricted access to quality research, fostering knowledge exchange and advancement in geomatics and environmental sciences
